To be clear, really happy with how everything is evolving this season and
I know its early in what will be a long season, to be making any sweeping statements about style and team characteristics etc.. but I cant help feeling that we are a team that will do well against the "better" teams in the division and struggle a bit against the more physical, high energy/pressing sides.
It seems to me at the moment that TC is a match for anyone in the league tactically which means that we can disrupt the shape and supply of the more technical sides and impose our own game plan on them (Forrest, Burnley etc..), whilst against the more "up and at em" teams our more creative players (some of whom are new to this league) might struggle to cope.
I'm not saying that any side with Cooper and Jansson at the heart of the defense is a soft touch, far from it, but we aren't the "rabid dogs" type of team Millwall are for example.
Time will tell, and the next few matches might prove me completely wrong.
Style of play..

Think TC will have to demonstrate his tactical and creative talents down in Wales tomorrow, Not an easy game by any stretch of the imagination , bit nervy about this one tbh

The "rabid dogs" approach is all that some teams seem to have, but hopefully TC can figure-out how to set our team up to combat that sort of opposition.
He certainly seems to acknowledge that some teams will scrap like that - he says that the Cardiff game is going to be like a combination of Brum, Millwall and Ipswitch games.
Will be interesting to see what team he thinks can handle that.

He came a cropper against Neil Harris, and Warnock is a warhorse who will have his team ready to give us some heavy rounds 2moro.
TC needs to select the team accordingly and go into 2moro with a real ballet dancer in a street fight mentality.

I think the players we have that are just settling in will learn game by game and have a bit off that scrapping mentality knocked into them!..
They have the skill factor, and any boxer knows that sometimes it takes a little more than just skill!..
They will learn!.

When is there a battle in midfield any more, it's all about closing down and controlling midfield

Jansson and Cooper like a tear up, but 6 in midfield would be ridiculous
