And do we even need Silva anymore since Andy King's return to top form?

I hope you weren't baiting anyone in particular with that comment Mersey.

It was submitted to the FA in time, but was registered through the FIFA system (C.O. The FA) 14 seconds late. I imagine this will be the basis of the appeal

Leicester City will say that within the process and the scope of their role as a football club, they met the expectations with regard to submission time

I find it hard to believe that this appeal will succeed, particularly since we seem to be parroting exactly what we said when it got rejected in the first place, but one lives in hope.

The pigs are on the runway, but I don't think they'll clear the perimeter fence.

I think it will go through, the groundwork has been done by the Lawyers and my feeling is it's a done deal.
Hope I'm right but who knows when FIFA are inviolved.

Joby - not baiting, just making bants. That's what the kids do these days isn't it 😉.
FFS - why should FIFA give way? Because it's illegal to prevent an EU citizen the right to work and if we're honest, it's disgusting to treat a player and club that have done (virtually) nothing wrong with such contempt.
The fact that we've taken so long suggests the lawyers have been considering what the appeal should be based upon and they've gone with whatever they think is the strongest.
However, without looking at any legal documents, if FIFA choose to punish an individual player and potentially affecting his ability to work and chances of playing in a World Cup, then they are exactly the disgusting organisation I believe them to be.
If I were the FA and Leicester, I'd play him. They are perfectly within their legal rights to do so. European Law is something even FIFA are not above!

surprise surprise, FIFA have let Costa start training with Athletic Madrid team mates, Silva still in no mans land. Costa was weeks after deadline, silva was seconds, where is the explanation as to why this is possible and Silva isn't?
