I didn't see anything wrong with Arteta's comments. Liverpool players always bang on about how they will finally win the league this year. Arteta hasn't said that anywhere, he just said there is a better chance of him winning trophies with Arsenal than there was with Everton.

I don't want him to say anything. Nothing at all. Just keep quiet. Maybe once we get a bit of a run going then he may comment on how nice the weather has been but otherwise they just need top keep their mouths shut and concentrate on their football.

Rhackw: Dont worry about typing mistakes. I do a lot myself, sometimes its because I dont reread my answer closely. I know my english isnt the best either but its not my motherlanguage and I dont care when people correct me.

I believe Arteta is a good signing too. If Cesc helped him to settle its because he cares about Arsenal.

I apologize to all if some of my replies here were too strong or insulting. I am just a bit sensitive to my typos..sorry..my arthritis is becomng soo bad, and I love to chat and type here...and sooo love Arsenal,..so if I reacted too emotionally, I am truely sorry...I want to to be a gunner fan in good standing ))) arthritis, age and all, me and my cane shuffle to nearly all of the home and away matches...I live life between my USA home and my London flat..always have for the past 30 years...

all I was trying to say..is that Fab was classy in helping Arteta get settled, tells me he has Arsenal in his heart...
and that Mikel's statements are uplifitng to me...and realistically positive...

after what I..and all of you..have been through these past few months, any light in the dark is welcome and needed..

you gotta understand..I am not the fairweather fan..I have lived and breathed Arsenal since 1966..is one of biggest passions in life..I personally make sure the Arsenal shop makes a profit ...how many thousands of pounds each year of jersyes, jackets, etc I have sent to family, friends..business associates...I just love this club..

I will always think..we are the greatest club on the planet...I adore our style of play..and yes I know, we have a number of current problems, with losing top players, etc..but..so what...we are Arsenal...and for over 125 years, we have been at the heart and soul of English and European football...ok, yes, I have been angry at Arsene in recent years for some things: lack of buying soon enough, etc...but..is how I feel, right or wrong....we should not be in the situation we are in, it could ahae been avoided..but we are where we are, and we are digging out...

ok..my gunner rant over...and thanks to all for forgiving me my emotional replies at times..I will try to improve..))
