I remember back in the day, anxiously awaiting U2 's Zoo TV tour....allegedly going to be better than the Joshua Tree.
The reality was that the best bit was a Trabant hanging from the roof.
A perfect analogy for the Rams?....a build of excitement,a flurry of new improvement of players.....a bright young thing at the helm.
And what do we get....garbage served up trying to fool the adoring public.
Well, I'm about at my wits end with this lot.
Maybe getting battered at Cardiff will be the realising tonic ...maybe not....maybe we will bounce..... maybe not.....
The next best U2 album was their 'Best of', a rehash of golden bygone years.
....... oh Lordy I need a drink.......

My mate was at a U2 gig.
Apparently Bono started clapping every 7 seconds and said "every time I clap a child in Africa dies"
A loyal fan shouted back
"Stop ho king clapping then."
The type of fans we need.

Tax havens exist so business transactions can take place with minimal cost. It is a happy coincidence that those with power and wealth can use them to avoid paying taxes. Incidentally Bonio means well but can't sing and is a hypocrite.

When I was just a boy the DET used to run features on the Rams players and I distinctly remember that the vast majority of the squad cited The Joshua Tree as their favourite album of all time.
I like a lot of their older stuff but have to agree that Bono is a complete dіċkhead. His insistence that he sing a particular part of one of the later 'Feed The World' reincarnations as a caveat to his taking part just shows precisely where his priorities lie... what is it with these fricking Irish and their demanding that we pay for this and forego that, all the while with their royalties piling up in foreign accounts? Sir Bob is another fecker for that.

I went to see U2 at Wembley in 1997. It was easily the best concert I have ever been to - and I've been to quite a few.
Viz magazine hates Bono and gives him stick in virtually every issue, but whatever your take on him, nobody can deny that he is a very tallented man.

Must be nearly time for a match thread. Is View able to do it or who is running it this week?

Yes it does. I particularly like the Rude Kid strip and of course Real Ale Tw@ts and Drunken Bakers. Sc~m Mothers who'd have them, is also incredibly accurate.

I left Viz for many years and only started getting it again a couple of years ago. The Craptic Crossword is a favourite and Drunken Bakers is genius as is Male Online, Skum Mothers and the Chicken takeaway whose name I forget. I love Jack Black as well. I tend to read it of a morning, after I have had had the morning cup of tea brought to me in bed by my sencond born, for which I pay him 50 pence per cup (absolute bargain) and before my shower. It seems to do the job of loosening me up for the day ahead quite nicely. Apart from Bono, they also appear to have something againstJack Straw and Sting. Can't think why.
