Fabregas, Bakayoko and Kante...these three players bring different qualities to our midfield, with devastating effects.
Technicality, Creativity and Vision:
Fabregas' passing and vision is second to none in the league. De brunye comes close, but still not on the same level with Cesc.
Dynamism, Energetic and Tackler:
Kante is simply the best in the league with these qualities. There's none like him. Enough said!
Destroyer and Box to Box:
With the addition of Bakayoko, Chelsea's midfield is now complete. He destroys, he dispossesses and he drives forward energetically like an unstoppable train.
Conte has successfully assembled three different players that offer different qualities in the middle of the park, that can dominate any opposition. Any surprises we've been having more ball possession of late?
What Conte has done with this midfield, will be better than what he had at Juve.
In fact, Chelsea will be a better and faster version of Juve in the PL.
Thoughts?

Kante has been better for a while but it's looking a lot closer this season
Pogba vs Bakayoko
Pogba. Not even close. One is a key player for France the other doesn't even always make the squad.
Mkhi vs Fabregas
Fab is the better player but Mhki is probably more productive

In our team I would.
But still early days.
We're talking midfield trio in which chelsea has a better one than utd.
Unless pogba leads utd to a title and has an oustanding season, like fabregas has had twice, like kante has had twice.
Then there is no real conversation to have.

in my view, Fab played more of a role in us winning the title last season, than he did in 2014/2015 season.
Yes he played less but his impact was far more significant coming on with 25 mins to go

why should it be that? Kante has been playing further forward than bakayoko and they've been changing.

Imo, fab is a lovely player to watch, to see how he operates when on form is a joy. His footballing brain is probably the most advanced in the squad. But his best years are behind him. He is too wasteful to be a shoe in in our current setup. Hollywood passes aside he needs to have a far bigger influence throughout a game against top clubs to be considered a starter. I have far more confidence in his ability to change a game from the bench than over 90 minutes.
