Just a heads up for anyone interested, free for a limited time (not sure how long) you can download the Gran Turismo Sport demo from the PS store.
If you fancy racing about in cars you can never afford, give it a go.
Enjoy

I would be playing with a pad.
played the GT demo and it reminded me of prologue where the car just seems to float left and right when you slightly lose control
My favourite game for racing was GRID on the ps3 and I loved the speed and handling of the touring cars
in regards to fortnite I recommend everyone downloads it
quality fun game

Yeah, using a wheel I found GT very dissapointing, very little feel on the Force feedback when the tyres start to loose grip. I also thought in cockpit mode it all felt very floaty. It wont have very much in terms of single player really so very much multiplayer focused which will be full of rammers.
Project Cars is more dar more sim and trickier to use the pad for. I havent put a whole load of time into it yet to be fair. but it will have far more options for creating your own races, has more circuits and the physics are far better than GT. I also think it looks more real graphically.
Assetto Corsa is also a very very good sim racer and easily the best for your buck just (until Project Cars comes out).
If your looking for realism and feel defo go for either Project cars 2 or Assetto Corsa. If all your mates are on GT Sport however that can be a decider. My opinion would be to wait til GT drops in value.
and fortnite is great fun

No worries, if you ever invest in a wheel let me know, I take part in racing leagues thro a couple of websites (its a pretty high standard to be fair) and could easily get you involved in that sorta thing if you fancied it?

Well mind is made up.
Logged online last night and 5 friends with GT and another 4 buying it on payday.
Would be rude not to give them a good hiding

1 week into playing GT and the game is amazing -- even using a pad
The single player which apparently it doesn't have if you believe the negative reviews is very involved and helps you learn everything about driving properly on the tracks
The multiplayer races all seem very clean and not full of idiots just smashing into you.. this makes me think the safety rating works like it's meant to
level 14 now with nearly 20 cars
feel free to add me (roguemanny) if you keep it clean when your on the track
