Olivier Giroud! A great late goal to snatch all the points against Red Star Belgrade propels Arsenal onwards and upwards and 5 points clear at the top of Group H. The match got off to a cagey start, in front of the vehement home fans who created a wall of noise. But with just 5 minutes remaining, Walcott, Wilshere and Giroud linked up in the Red Star penalty area, culminating in a fantastic overhead finish from the Frenchman to break the deadlock at the death. The teenagers played well and everyone is awarded a 101/101 including Wenger and the travelling fans.

Nelson confirmed what I already suspected - he could develop into a world class player!
Of course, he probably wont, but he deffo has potential.
The goal was indeed superb.

Another stunner from OG. When will people begin to respect this guy?

I would prefer a striker who gets 30 tap ins a season than Giroud who misses lots of chances, does not scare defences, is detrimental to our attack and has only managed 101 goals in 5 1/4 seasons, thats less than 20 a season on average in all competitions. I can forgive him his 4 month goal drought in 2016 but I cant forget it. It cost us a genuine shot at the title. He is not good enough and the occasional spectacular goal does not change that.
