Our 11th straight win in all competitions and they don't come much tougher than that when you consider the atrocious weather and an opponents who've shown no fear on the road this season.
No one stood out, no one played badly but it should be proof that patience is as important as our style of football.
If I had to pick a MOTM it would be Ferdandinho, solid as a rock again at DM - It seems we've finally found a replacement for NDJ. Pep should take credit for sticking with him in that position.

Despite zero evidence Sandy think Spurs are one of the best teams in Europe.

Some looked tired which is hardly surprusing. Gundogan and even Yaya have a key role in prividing rotational rest.

Respect to that Burnley team - made it really difficult. Penalty or not, the fact that we eventually broke through and saw the game out without conceding is certainly and evidentially, progress. Shark Team devours Fraudistas.

It’s amazing that whilst “they” got Phil Jones, we signed Kun Agüero. Maybe a song could be made of it.

Seeing the real United now they have had their easy start. Jose is under pressure so you can expect lots of training in how to position the bus correctly on the 18 yard box. Just know they will play 8 or 9 at the back against City.

I don't see Jose taking playing second fiddle to Pep again very well at all.
I reckon he will be gone next summer.

Best way to play vs a Jose parked bus is attack with speed and 1 touch passing/flicks. Before the sending off (despite Jose claiming on the contary) we did that and constantly ripped them open and only a combination of De Gea and great last ditch defending kept them in it.

City are looking good at the moment. Threats from all over the pitch, whilst keeping it tight at the back. Pep knows that defending isn’t a crime and he also knows that being good in defence and attack aren’t mutually exclusive. If the gap gets to 9-10 points it’ll be hard to make up.

At the moment... genuinely true!
