Hey, I am new, but read 606 for a long time.
Just wanted to comment on the negativity surrounding yesterday's match, bit disappointed with the response tbh.
IMHO Gibbs actually played quite solidly, nothing spectacular but no worse than Sagna, I also believe that this is one of the best defensive displays I have see in a long while,= from this side, which is mainly due to the arrivals of Arteta and Benayoun, Both of whom worked tirelessly defensively, something Fabregas and Na$ri could never claim to do.
All of the claims surrounding Arteta being Fabregas-Lite are very unfair in all honesty. He is a completely different player, much more well rounded and commited. I also think it will help that the team is not so reliant on their talisman anymore, as when he was off form it all seemed to fall to pieces.
I genuinely think we are in for a good season if Wenger does actually buy a creative player in January, aas right now we are somewhat skint in that department. That is unless Ramsay wants to wake up and realise that's his job.
Anyway thanks, and it was great so see Man City held by Napoli, I doubt they'll go through now
Why it's not all doom and gloom :)

Sorry mate I am usually pretty solid with those though.

Arteta's experience will prove very valuable, replacing Fabregas was nigh on impossible, and Wenger hasn't ried to do that, merely moulded the team to accomodate for the loss.
