Are the authorities going after the wrong people?
Some are saying tackle the route cause, the prices and people would not feel the only option is to go down the streaming route.
I'm not sure. I think no matter how cheap something is it can never be cheaper than free.
I'm in a fortunate position with my media package so i don't need to go down the route.
Some are saying the government have made this a bigger priority than tax dodgers. Really? I didn't think the government were involved.

Fook the law!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
😂 Well there is that of course and as I said earlier they’re not after the likes of the user yet.
But they will be at some point, just to get a few test cases done and dusted. Might be AFC up first in front of the beaks
“But it’s not illegal. Who did I steal from? Fook the law” might be his trailing words as he’s led down to the cells 😂😂😂

Ginge
No-one is arresting me over a little Kodi add on! The police and gov have a lot more important things to be dealing with.
So we (the consumer), have to stay and get ripped off , not moan about anything, and keep paying whatever they say....nah mate.

as if the police have the resources to conduct such vast raids etc

If the police go after the supplier though that will effect the individual consumer in the end.

erm its usually how it works when a business is selling something that they have copy righted, you can moan all you want nobodies stopping that and no one forces you to stay at all but I do find it funny people can moan all day about sky packages yet phone companies will charge you 60-70quid a month for the latest phone and the same people(not suggesting you) will run and get that every year without having a 2nd thought, a fecking phone!

Half the games arent even available on uk tv, so me streaming a 3pm game doesnt lose any company any potential money since the option to watch it isnt even available
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It can potentially cost the club though if supporters decide to take that route instead of going. 👍
----------------------------------------------------------------------
they dont though the seats are normally always sold out
----------------------------------------------------------------------
😂 my point being of course that they won’t necessarily be if all games are streamed at actual kick off time.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
is that proven though? do clubs get a drop in supporters in the stadium if the match happens to be on 5pm and is shown on sky? i think most people would still go even if all games were shown on tv
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No it’s not proven because it hasn’t happened yet.
I look at European club games where every game is on live and there are empty spaces everywhere in Spanish and especially Italian football unless it’s a big derby. You can always get tickets freely available for any other game.
I would guess that away crowds would dwindle of there is significant travel involved as would fans of clubs who are out of the title or relegation races if all their games were on live.
I’d also hazard a guess that sales of season tickets would decrease at many grounds if supporters knew they could watch every single game at kick off time live.

Police shouldn't be spending much time on this, surely there are more important things for them to spend dwindling resources on.

I will qualify my £89 a month...
Got an offer from sky after asking to have a box taken out...saving £10 a month
They said "if you have an 18 month contract we can do it cheaper including keeping that box
I said ok fine...6 months later my sky package went up...rang them demanded to know why
they said that was for 6 months only...I demanded a transcript of the phone call..they said it'd take two weeks to trace..... I said ok rimng me when you have it
Two weeks later they rang....couldn't find it...unsurprisingly...then gave me the 18 months at £89...with no contract
feckers must've thought I came down with the last rain shower..
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Always a deal to be had with Sky. The sales staff are on bonuses to keep customers who think of leaving. I had 12 months half price for everything last time. One day they’ll cotton on because when I did seriously look around nobody comes even close to what they provide.

I'm a little surprised BT Have done so well taking a slice of prem football...didn't think they would

Well Pepper, divide your monthly by 3 and I'm still paying less. Well not if you include mobile.
But for tv, bb and telephone with all the channels apart from sports in hd. Which i dont care if i can tell whether or not the teams use Daz or Bold, on 3 stbs i like my monthly bill.
Course im on a low income compared to anyone else on here so it swings in roundabouts.
