With mates in the media, he’s always been able to paint a rosy picture of his abilities that doesn’t always tally with reality.

Looking back he was managing Spurs and being talked about for the England job, then all of a sudden he was out on his ear!

So reading between the lines he has got away with something, can't imagine what though.

I'm no fan of Harry but does he not just spend what's made available to him by the chairman? If the QPR sanction multiple players they can't afford, then isn't that QPRs fault?

Harry is a bit a cant at the best of times but can't really pin QPRS FFP bill on him IMO, he would have been given a budget by the board and spent accordingly

Well said Black Starr, too many people getting on Arry's case. All spending was sanctioned by Tony Fernades.

It’s just that he has left a trail of debt at most clubs he has managed. Always promises more than he delivers.

'Arry at Portsmouth?

Let's just say their spending didn't reflect their maximum capacity crowd of 20,000

Fair play will, he likes to spend money no doubt, but his record at Spurs was pretty good when paired with a much more prudent chairman in Levy. Signed some good players and dragged them from near relegation places to top 4.

His career has been damaged by some bad decision making on his part though

Arry signed 57 players at West Ham, many of whom had less than 10 minutes playing time.

When he retired from football, despite having a modest career he owned 3 properties on Sandbanks. Now where did that money come from?
