Defeat from the Jaws of victory

I have lived in Cardiff and follow them every season.
This year they have surpassed themselves.
Almost promoted, they have now capitulated, Manager sacked, best players gone.

What next?

A new young ambitious manager, who is promised heavy backing by the owners, then the signings of the likes of Bellamy, Earnshaw, DJ Campbell and a whole host of other class players. Then we win the championship title and quickly transform into a stable premiership side.

They will need over £10m to replace the ones they have lost Chopra Bellamy Boothroyd and Burke have they got that kind of money?

Cardiff have almost made it to the Premier in the last two seasons, now is not the time to have a "fire sale"! Otherwise management might find itself dealing with problems at the other end of the table.

I have a feeling that the most bitter pill to swallow was, not that THEY missed promotion, but that SWANSEA did make it to the top flight?

Thats right SWANSEA made it to the top flight...get used to it cause we are there to stay. Bluebottles bottled it once again and now have no manager, not many good players and not much money in the purse!

You asked what's next.......

Shearer to take over, lol

Possibly the worst managerial appointment of all time???

The Shearer things is funny.

Seriously mind Dave Jones under the circumstance of a club with risdale fever has consistantly performed with a core team of loans.

Seems a bit narrow minded to me.

Shearer tried having talks but couldn't find his way out of Newcastle, some say that without Alan Hansen or Gary Lineker to hold his hand he's lost.

Either that or he thought Cardiff was drearier than Blyth!

I'd much rather see Alan Shearer remain a pundit on Match of the Day. He's very fair and impartial, unlike that annoying twit, Mark Lawrenson.
