In the hubbub, there is suddenly a crashing sound and one of the creatures spins around the tree, the tree you are hiding behind. And then the creature cries AAARGGH!!! and screeching insanely, turns and runs through the darkness. The other creature follows him. Crashing and screaming and shouting, they disappear into the darkness.
