Match Stats
Brentford are unbeaten in eight home games against Leeds in all competitions (W5 D3) since losing 2-1 in August 1950.
Leeds have only scored once in their last four league visits to Griffin Park, a Mustapha Carayol goal in a 1-1 draw in January 2016.
Brentford's league matches in 2017 have seen 123 goals scored, more than any other club in the top four tiers of English football (excludes play-off matches).
Pierre-Michel Lasogga has been involved in more Championship goals than any other Leeds player this season (8 - five goals and three assists); since making his debut against Burton in September, only Leo Bonatini (11) has had a hand in more Championship goals than the German striker.
Leeds have the same record after 15 Championship matches this season (W7 D2 L6) as they had last season.
Since beating Birmingham in September - a result that put the Whites top of the league - Leeds have attempted just 18 shots on target in the Championship, fewer than any other team.
So with Brentford sitting in 15th place but having had some decent results and us sitting in 7th despite our dire run in recent games this could be a pretty tough one Apparently we haven't won at Griffin Park since the year I was born so I think it's time to put that one right , I'm going for a 0-2 Win with Alioski and Dallas hitting the net ( bloody daft prediction )
Prutton predicts: 1-1 with Ollie Watkins to score first (30/1 with Sky Bet)

TC said this was a must win game. Must win or what? What would be the outcome if this
must win game was lost? He didn’t say did he?

Out of the games
played so far, we have
looked
good against Forest, Sunderland and Burton. We dodged a bullet against Ipswich and Birmingham out played us but failed to score. At Bristol we won but weren’t convincing. We have been second best in the other games. Our current
form is shambolic, yet we have shown we CAN play. The loss of form can only be addressed by the coaching staff. I am not convinced that TC has what it takes based on interviews and questionnable team selection and tactics.

We could have won that.
Yet again Calvin Phillips' reckless aggression cost us dearly.
Ronaldo Viera is maturing into a really good player.
Samuel Saiz has real skill and the right attitude.
Crafty old Pablo is still a real assett and can torture most defences in this league.
La Sogga is little use, can't win the ball, left floundering and isolated time and again
If Ekuban turns out to be half-decent we might yet win some games

756 agree with that, thought vieira was great, substitutions good, saiz decision making needs to improve seems to shoot when he should pass and pass when he should shoot.
Very hard to win games when your striker is ineffective eitgervdie to poor service or poor game.

Let me amend that slightly, the substitutions apart from Grot....don’t know why he changed it just when we had the momentum.

The stats say that before today's match Leeds had attempted just 18 shots on target in the Championship, fewer than any other team. We actually had 7 shots on target today - 1 more than Brentford - but still ended up with a third of their goal tally. That's what happens when you don't replace your only natural goalscorer. What kind of clowns are running our club?

Sorry, meant to say '18 shots on target since our game against Birmingham in September'.

For those of you (and I really do despair at you) that keep saying we shouldn’t play x and y, then who should we play instead??? TC and A have had one, yes one, pre season and transfer window to try and sort out the years of underinvestment, and you think it should be done overnight? That’s a joke. The flying start was proof we can do it but injuries, suspensions and being found out in the only style we can currently play (due to personnel) has contributed to our downfall. We have some good players, some bad players and some confidence players. But we don’t have enough decent ones to play around at the minute. And that would not be any better under Spunk or any other manager and certainly not under any of the countless chairmen we’ve had since PR. So get into a bit of reality, sort your heads out and get behind the club. Should be MOT but many of you lot make it FFS.
