Everton 3 - 2 Watford

Everton took full advantage of their relegation rivals losing and move two points clear of the drop zone.

Things were looking bleak just after the half time boos, as Watford went 2-0 up, incredibly Everton fought back to lead 3-2 and escaped an injury time penalty miss from Cleverley to take all three points and deliver the first win for Unsworth.

He cut a proud figure at the end of the match, and who can blame him after comments made during the game.

"Best thing would be for us to wake up tomorrow and have the news that Everton have a new manager" (P. Neville, 05/11/17)

Perhaps a stay of execution for the endangered "Rhino", and so say all of us.

Unsworth in!

They need to get rid of Unsworth.. that would be a start or they will get relegated.

He should manage in the lower leagues.

Lot slower than with an Everton defeat. Standards are slacking. That’s 8/10 articles.
