The excitement is tangible. No wonder the SFA moved forward the international game so that everyone can focus on the wonderful tournament that is the Irn Bru fizzy pop cup.
So let's look at the fixtures:
Dundee Utd vs Crusaders
The holders entertain the Irish outfit and thankfully Earl did an article earlier in the week which outlined everything we need to know about them. I'm assuming Csaba will continue to play the kids and, given that I'm going out tonight, I'll no doubt stay at home nursing a hangover rather than going to a youth team game.
Prediction - 1-0
Dumbarton v Raith
It could be an interesting game at the Rock. Dumbarton can be tricky opponents but Raith are going well in League One. An upset on the cards? Possibly.
Prediction - 1-2
ICT v Falkirk
Tie of the round and that's why it's the live evening kick off on BBC Alba. ICT have somehow managed to develop a mean defence, which is extraordinary given that Coll Donaldson is part of it, but there you go. Hartley is a kant so I'm going for the highlanders to win through.
Prediction - 2-0
TNS v QOTS
I'm bored of this article now and know nothing about the Welsh team.
Prediction - 1-2

To be frank I think you should stop all this 'undefeated' nonsense when Celtic as a club have been beaten in this tournament by lower league opposition two years on the bounce.

Let's look at the facts here JFK (if that is your real name).
1. United get relegated and decide to put out the kids - pump everyone, undefeated in 20 years in this competition by the way.
2. Rangers play full strength team and only win it once in four attempts. Pitiful.
3. Celtic cry because Rangers were in it and they weren't. SPFL let them in because they pure love Celtic and then you get pumped all over the place in the early rounds. Like proper ragdolled. It almost makes you feel sorry for Celtic because they got pumped so hard. Although obviously you laugh because it's funny.
4. Celtic laughably claim to be unbeaten and ignore the utter pumpings they get in the prestigious Irn Bru cup.
