PS I thought the England team did well last night. Great to see Joe get his first full cap at senior level.

First time in a long time that I've watched England, and actually found a little bit of enjoyment and not changed over by half time. No ego and no expectation.

international friendlies should be used exactly as Southgate is using them. Blood new players and give them a chance.

It's the play offs for the World Cup, often if England are playing friendly matches it is because somewhere else in the world we have copa del America but then again if you would be happy for Liverpool to play without your South American contingent then yeah boo to friendly matches
