The big two aren't acting like the big two clubs these days. As a cradle Glens supporter, I am disgusted with what is happening both on and off the pitch.
Then we have the Blues who lack discipline both on the pitch and on the sidelines.
With regards to what happened last night at Seaview: the Ref. first got the call WRONG and then got it RIGHT with the help of a better positioned official. That is the way it is supposed to work. Lunging into a tackle with studs showing is a RED card.
As for Mr. Healy, it does not look good to see a photo of him with his hand draped around the game official's shoulder. He deserves a RED card, a FINE, a SUSPENSION or all of these.
Mr. Healy, in spite of your whining, the Crues were the better side and deserved to win, and there is a guy in Ballymena who would love his old job back!

Disagree. I think the referee made a fool of himself. For me both players committed red card challenges but the referee saw it from his angle and sent one player off. The assistant saw it from his angle and thought the other should have been sent of instead. The referee changed his mind and sided with the assistant who was actually much further away from the incident than he was.
The referee basically told us that he sent the player off without being sure, despite being close to the incident and then sided with his assistant who was further away.
Very poor refereeing and unfortunately for Healy it puts another nail in his coffin.

Both should have been off but the referee went with the assistant instead of his own.

Earl
Boy at work reckons Healy brought in mates to play, and disrupted the defencec especially.Plus only a fairly unfit Waterworth up front, so Healy missed a trick in not getting strikers in.
Always next year.....or last year.

I think the biggest problems have been the sale of Paul Smyth, + Jamie Mulgrew the best player in the League has missed several weeks through injury and Andy Waterworth is nowhere near fit.
Not too worried to be honest and would be great for Irish League Football if Coleraine can hold on to top spot this season.

Yup, I would like to see Coleraine win it, now that the blues are adrift.

Now Linfield FC, the famous Blues, want a review of match officials! Could it be because they are losing a lot of games?
Even Earl must be embarrassed by this! They wrap this request in their usual arrogance by stating:
"Linfield acknowledges that refereeing can be a thankless task at times............."
These referees obviously missed the training class that states that Linfield have an inherent right to win regardless of whom they play? Even the lowly Mallards are mentioned in the story!
And the whining goes on, and on, and on.......
No wonder attendance at most games is so pathetic!
The truth is that good/bad calls even themselves out over the length of a season. Or perhaps there is a conspiracy against Linfield?
The "Duke of Windsor" must be turning over in his grave?
