Good that Scouser Danny Lloyd scored a hat-trick in front of family and friends at Tranmere on Wednesday night.

Can he, Marriott and Maddison, score a goal apiece to defeat Blackpool on Saturday? I hope so.

With Junior Morias injured, we have been one man short of the all-scoring triumvirate that started the season so well for us. Lloyd may well prove to be the piece that we have been missing from the Posh all-conquering jigsaw.

A win would also re-ignite our promotion chase.

Hopefully, the side will not be too tired and will be able to repeat their high tempo performance against Tranmere.
