Best Derby Day memories at The Emirates...

2nd December 2006 - Arsenal 3-0 Spurs

Two penalties from Gilberto, one in either half, added to an early Adebayor strike to help us bounce back from a 2-1 defeat to Fulham. The result left us 10 points off the top top.

31st October 2009 - Arsenal 3-0 Spurs.

A game won in one minutes football. Robin van Persie put Arsenal one up after 42 minutes. From kick off, Cesc Fabregas won the ball back, waltzed through the Spurs defence and slotted home to make it 2. van Persie added a third on the hour, and the demons of conceding 2 late goals the season before in a 4-4 draw were exorcised.

26th February 2012 - Arsenal 5-2 Spurs.

2 down after 34 minutes, it was looking a bad day for Arsenal until Bacary Sagna got forward to head us back into it. Robin van Persie struck soon after, meaning we went in 2-2 at half time. It didn't take long for us to take full control, Tomas Rosicky putting us 3-2 up and the a Theo Walcott double sealing an impressive win. We were still 7 points behind 3rd placed Spurs at the time, but it was the starting point for an unlikely recovery.

17th November 2012 - Arsenal 5-2 Spurs

For the second time in a year, and 5 years ago to the day, Arsenal once again smashed Spurs 5-2.
Spurs led again, Adebayor scoring early doors. However, the former Arsenal man saw red and was sent off for an ugly challenge. Per Mertesacker equalised with a header, before two goals just before half time put the game beyond Spurs. Lukas Podolski put us 2-1 ahead on 42 minutes, and then Olivier Giroud made it 3 in injury time. Santi Cazorla and Gareth Bale shared goals in the second half, before Theo Walcott put the icing on the cake with a 90th minute 5th.

Three 1-1 draws in the last three seasons means a win is long overdue against Spurs at the Emirates.
Spurs have only won once at the Emirates and twice away to Arsenal in the PL era.

C'mon the Arsenal.

We will win the match after Tott****m get a daft red card

I think a draw is most likely, as I can't see us not conceding at least 2. And I bet at least 1 of those will be due to our defence making a costly error. It's impossible for us to play a good side without our defence handing them at least 1 or 2 goals on a plate.

Pretty damning judgement of Chelsea.

Going with the standard 1-1 myself

Quite staggering to see the negativity from Arsenal fans about this game. You would think that Guardiola's Barcelona are coming to town. Tottenham are very good, that's clear, but let's not make them out to be something that they aren't.

Exactly. Although, the most probably result is a stalemate.

Ozil's assist for Gibbs' goal in the 1-1 draw in 2015/16.

The assist by Ozil set a new PL record for assists in consecutive games (6). He extended it to 7 before the streak was broken.
