1 win in 17 under Poch. Just not acceptable and especially for a club supposedly challenging titles and going places. We will never win anything as a club if we don't change this mentality. This is not even a dig at Poch who I think has worked wonders at this club but this weak Spurs mentality is still there and is stuck in our DNA.
We still seem to have this failure mentality when ever it comes to the crunch games. Yes we can go and get superb results against Madrid but we are just not consistent enough with it to be even remotely close to winning the title, let alone challenging it. Our bottle job mentality is still apparant every single season no matter how we look at it. Yes we are a decent side no doubt about it, but are we any closer to actually winning something than we were 10 years ago ?
It's so frustrating as a Spurs supporter because we have finally built up what looks to be a top class side. I fear we are going to go another season without a trophy and the vultures will be out in full force next summer to cherry pick out best players. Can you blame them though ?
Kyle walker as much as I personally didn't rate has moved onto City and pretty much certain to be bagging his 1st league title We just don't win anything and it's becoming incredibly frustrating watching us p*** it up the wall every season. We promise so much but deliver so little. Players move on and win stuff, just like they did back in the days of berbatov etc. We are a much better side and run club but are we any closer to actually achieving anything as a club?
Our record away to the top 6

You're a bunch of bottlers Don I've said it so many times before. You bottled it in the title race against us and you bottled it at key moments last season.
It's ok demolishing half the league season in season out when the pressure isn't on but I can tell you as a supporter of a PL winning club, that's not what wins you a title.
Your best hope is the CL because there's no pressure and nothing to bottle. I think you'll do well in that competition.
Best thing poch can do is go to PSG because he's gone as far as he can with Spurs

Blackstar, not being funny mate but only I and other Spurs supporters get to rinse our team, certainly not a small time Leicester fan. We are twice the club you are despite your fluke league title and we are certainly miles better than you as a team. There not even a comparison between leicester and Spurs so know you're place mate

They won the premier league. You haven't. All the rest is just white noise.

Spurs have won the league though, just because it has changed it`s name from 1st Division to Premier Division are you going wipe out the Previous 100 years of top flight football in England.

I'm pretty sure it is blackstar mate. He has become incredibly bitter the last year or so on here and looks to have taken over Arro as this incredibly bitter Spurs hater. Have a look at his recent article and he's clearly trying to wind up Spurtle on it with digs at Spurs.

Blackburn won the premier league. You're point? Look what state they are in. Couldn't careless what Leicester won. We are head and shoulders above them not only as a club but as a team. Leicester will probably be in the championship in a few years anyway.

Yeah but only one of us has a PL trophy
Not bad for a small time club in their second season in the PL.
Fluke or not (difficult to fluke 38 games) you bottled your only realistic chance of winning the title. Poch has taken you as far as he can and you know it

Yeah it's me Palmer - to be honest I like Spurs - I just think Don is a complete drama queen so it's fun to watch him go off on one. I do the same when Leicester go into their regular mini crisis and sack a manager.
Generally like Spurs fans on here but for every arro you guys have a sandy or chronic

Look the point don is that trophies are the be and end all. Its the reason you play football - to win something. It's what united fans have over Liverpool. Doesn't matter if we end up in the conference - it's something we have that you don't.
You can dismiss us as a small time club that flukes the title all you want - we still won the league. You haven't done that since 1962 or something so until you do pipe down saaaaaan
In all seriousness though i do wonder where else poch can take you guys. You could actually win the CL this year as underdogs. Then we'll all shut up

Poch could take us further if given unlimited funds like the likes of city, Utd and Chelsea. To dismiss him as someone who has taken us as far as he can is short sighted as we could easily regress if/when he leaves. He's done a remarkable job to have us around the top 2/3 in the last few seasons. Not winning the league was clearly not a bottle job, bottling something implies you had it in your hands and let it go. Spurs were never in that position. We did bottle second place in 2016 though I admit that.

Spot on about poch which for me is why he has to move on. He could surprise everyone in the CL this year but realistically you don't have the budget to match his ambition even though he clearly loves the club
I would disagree and say you did have the title in your hands in 2016. We drew with West Brom at home in April which drew a lot of Spurs fans on our board celebrating the inevitable. All you had to do was best West Ham I believe and you would have been in the driving seat - 2 points clear I think at that stage. That was where you bottled it for me with a shocking performance. That was the most important part of the title race for me

I don't disagree with you and have already explained on here that we are bottle jobs but you really can't be bashing our trophies as a Leicester fan mate. Our history totally dwarfs you as a club. Whilst that might not mean nothing to me as a supporter right now, we are by far a more successful and bigger club despite you're title win. Oh and Pochettino just needs a trophy under his belt for this club. We are close but seem to fail at the last hurdle all the time.

When did I make out that Leicester were as big a club as Spurs? No Leicester fan honestly thinks that - but trophy wise (recent history) I'm afraid we dwarf you right now and that's the problem.
For all the top 4 finishes, superb football, impressive talent, you haven't won a league title since the Beatles first started getting attention. That's embarrassing for a club of your size and you know it.
If Poch does get a trophy under his belt (and I don't mean a league cup) then he will have done his job and will be off to go to a club whose budget matches his ambition. The worry is if that happens before you win a major trophy. Until that happens though, fans of clubs that have won a major trophy, small or big, can bash you all they want
