An inconsistent Posh will probably win this one after losing to Blackpool on Saturday.
Pompey have just one former Posh player, Christian Burgess, a defender (as opposed to the attacker in former Posh player, Kyle Vassell, who scored the winning goal for Blackpool). Still, Burgess can head the ball, so a goal from him cannot be discounted.
Blackpool started well against the Posh. We must start well against Pompey and maintain a high tempo.
I'll be going to the game and reporting upon it to a Pompey friend of mine (from Emsworth, near Portsmouth). Posh seem to play well when I watch them, so here's touching wood!

Probably the last decent crowd Posh will get this year unless they start performing.

Flat first half, TF, then a much better second half. Super first goal created by Marcus Maddison (best talent on the pitch) and slotted away by the prolific Jack Marriott. Admirable Pompey support.
Hope we make it to the Championship with Maddison (otherwise, we really ought to be losing him). MOM Stephen Taylor was also excellent and has an almost youthful enthusiasm for the game, as well as a great rapport with the fans.
Lowly Rochdale away next - a must-win if we are to keep up with the promotion-pushers.
