Norwich have good form on the road, they did the double over us last season, inflicting a 5-1 loss at Carrow Rd last Feb', in I think the second or third game in charge for Gary Brazil and Jack Lester.
Norwich’s form away from home is less of an issue, with them having won four of their last five games away from Carrow Road – although their one defeat did come in their last game on the road, at Bolton.
Former Nottingham Forest man Nelson Oliveira is now a key figure for Norwich. He scored a memorable early goal against the sheep at the City Ground two seasons ago, bringing some much needed cheer to what turned out to be a dour season.
While possessing undoubted skill, he sometimes looked ponderous and lacking pace. Not many fans fancied buying him for a reported £5M fee from Benfica. Since moving to Norwich at the start of last season he has come on some what and looks a sharp Championship striker.
The 2015-16 campaign was spent at Sky Bet Championship side Nottingham Forest where he netted nine goals in 28 league starts, prior to completing a switch to Carrow Road.
He didn't make his debut in yellow and green until September, hitting form over the winter with eight goals in ten matches. He finished the campaign with 12 strikes in total.
He has made 11 appearances so far this season, five as a substitute and scored 5 goals.
Norwich City boss Daniel Farke says Nottingham Forest’s formidable home record presents his team with a “hard task" this evening.
But he believes the Canaries can take confidence from their own form on the road.
Mark Warburton’s Reds have won five out of their eight Championship games at the City Ground so far this season, and go into tonight’s clash sat two points outside of the play-off places.
Their opponents are immediately below them in the table and although City are without a win in four, they have impressed away from home – having returned with maximum points from three of their last four matches.

Liking the look of the league table right now. It looks like progress for us. Just need to get Lichaj back on the right. Wonder if we might look for a LB in Jan

Just got back. Funny game, had just a random good feeling about today and that murphy was ready to bag one. A battle between two flair teams ground into ‘to-me-to-you’ sketch, with neither team winning second balls in the others half
Worral was MOTM. Hands down, as Warburton said post match, the lad is a premier league prospect. Immmense.
The defence, despite two injured first choice full backs (in the second half atleast) saw off fairly comfortably, a siege from Norwich.
Attack had an off day, and Osborn had an off day, and just when you thought neither team would score, murphy taps one in 👍
Might be temporarily up at 7th, but we’re 13 points of 22nd 👍

Got to be happy with that. Clear progress from be drudgery of last season where that game would have been lost.

Just got back. Dull day, dull crowd and for the most part, a dull game.
It was scrappy and, as has been said, you have to play like that sometimes and grind out a win.
First half Norwich were first to the second ball, looked more lively and posed us a few issues in the middle as they are a physically larger midfield than us.
second very similar, but Carayol's introduction was key. Grumbles and complaints from people around me that know more than Warburton but we dug in and got the important goal.
Murph was very good and led the line well, but I feel we missed the pace of Walker.
3 points at home again. That's 4 on the bounce and only conceding 1 in the process.
Onto Colin and Cardiff Sunday

Looking at the highlights you can’t fail to be impressed with how hard Murphy worked to get to Carayol’s cross for the goal. Reminded me of a certain Lee Chapman.

Yes, Walker deserved at least a spot on the bench off the back of his last two performances. Maybe he was looking a bit jaded and his “stats” weren’t quite right. He has looked a good outlet and stretches the play a little. Forest didn’t seem capable of that last night until Carayol came on.

Looking forward to the Cardiff game. They are up to second now so are up there to be shot at. Will be in my favourite spot behind the goal in the Bridgford Upper for that one.

Scrappy game last night but we should feel some satisfaction that we can win those sort of games.
We just couldn't get in gear; none of the pairings worked I felt, especially Vaughan and Bridcutt. Still not convinced about Bridcutt. And although Lichaj played OK we look unbalanced with him on the left.
Joe was a giant. Probably the best ninety minutes he has played. Looks better than Lascelles at the same stage. We are going to have to reject some big money for him in the next few years. I bet Klopp wishes he had him.
On to Sunday and I expect Colin will be telling his team to get in our faces. Hopefully Traore will be fit to face them and Eric can return to his proper position..

Only Forest and Sheffield Utd in the whole football league have gone without drawing this season, and both share the longest current drawless run with 25 consecutive league games.
Anyone know the record?
