2 struggling teams meet at the macron tonight in an 8pm kick off. Bolton in 23rd with 12 points can possibly be out of the relegation zone with a win which is possible as in form unbeaten in 6 with 2 wins and 4 draws. Reading in 19th with 18 points represent dangerous opposition. Losers of last seasons play off final to Huddersfield they have been very inconsistent this time round. The last 6 games have been won 3 lost 3. Bolton underestimate at your peril as reading have beaten Derby, Birmingham and Leeds away. Team news rounded up from various sources. Beevers suspended. 2 new injuries little and Robinson. Andy Taylor is possibly still injured as is Wilbraham and Chris Taylor. Alf should be fit. Still no news on karacan. With no fit left back talk of pp changing to a back 3. At this stage expect anything. Also Henry, pratley and wheater are one booking from suspension. Don't forget ken's q and a in the reflections restaurant in the whites hotel and bring lots of lovely money to spend on overpriced food and drink.

swie looking at the fixtures it could be too much to catch up once December is finished with it looks like there's only going to be scraps available for us until little Lee looks for some rabbits in that hat.

If you look at results at the bottom recently, they haven't been great for the other teams. We all face the same teams over the period of the season so I do think we can get out of the relegation zone.
I will either be proved right or wrong. We will know sooner or later. My glass is half full.

Taken from the Blkpool gazette a good read on what a football club is actually worth. Enjoy.

Hard life without that sugar daddy mentioned in that piece. Even harder when you are losing so much everyday. Its no wonder Ken wants to at least try and balance the books if he manages that and gets us promoted we might tempt somebody but it won't be at the high prices Ken will want to sell at but then if he did get us promoted would he do an Oyston and take money out rather than reinvest it.
Biggest mistake for our size was probably moving to Horwich into the wrong stadium if we had built a big Dome stadium we might have stood a chance at being the premier arena event for star turns other events and sports. If nobody fancied taking the club there a new stadium on the Burnden site or somewhere else if need be could have been accommodated easily with less overheads than the one we have now.
Best sit back and wait for somebody to fall for Ken sales pitch and hope they bring a pot of gold and some magic beans. As for surviving until that day don't aske me !

Prepare for the "they got millions excuses" what with PP saying he's backing his own judgement in the Beano what will he do if his latest cunning plan goes pear shaped ? Admit he was wrong and change for the game at home to Barnsley or convince you anything but a cricket score was good enough.
