It's a tough one.

I'm one of the Wales fans who can see why he didn't play friendlies (I also knew someone on the Welsh FA who said that insurance premiums weren't worth it for friendlies - don't know how true that is though) as SAF wanted him fresh for United.

I don't think he'd be popular though with the hard-core Welsh fans and that could make it difficult.

I know last summer was a bit of a fluke where everything came together and talking of together I don't think Giggs would get the squad motivated as Coleman was able to do as he never showed 100% commitment to Wales.

His inexperience doesn't bother me as much and with that in mind I wouldn't mind seeing whether Henry would be interested. He's done a lot of coaching badges with the Welsh FA and he'd certainly be high profile. I know it'd be a stepping stone but the job is always going to be that really as we don't pay the managers that much. Think Roy was on 10 x as much as Coleman last summer for example.

Last summer was epic for Wales. Really epic.

I agree I don't think he's they type to get them motivated, and he's a total wildcard as far as how he'd do. Tricky one alright.

Whenever I see footage of the Euros last year I get a lump in my throat. We'll never see anything like that again in Wales and the place was buzzing for that month everywhere you went.

If Giggs does get the job I do hope he'd be given a fair chance by the public but if it goes wrong quickly then I don't think he'd last too long.
