Yeah, from the short highlights that i saw he was putting himself about a bit and further forward! Looked quite fit to me. But then again, he HAS to do it at Chelsea regularly or he just warms the bench. It can make him a better player with the right drive if he wants it badly enough.
Playing time or bench warmer? It's a no-brainer really.

How on earth William can be on the bench as DD makes the team is beyond me. Why didn’t we do a swap deal?!

Mersey - If you don't mind me saying, that's a bit of an odd comment considering they both play in different positions. It's like saying I can't believe we play Danny Simpson when we've got Islam Slimani on the bench.

Willian has been woefully out of form for a while now. And I think the answer is obvious why we'd have a more defensive minded player.

I assumed it was tactical and he was on instead of Fabregas?

Ok, point taken on Willian. He’s still class though. I’d have an out of form Willian in our team anyday!!
