MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
Stoke have lost seven of their last eight top-flight games against the Reds, winning the other game.
That sole victory was a 6-1 home win in May 2015 - Steven Gerrard's last game for Liverpool.
Since that defeat Liverpool have won three successive games away to Stoke in all competitions.
Stoke City
Stoke have won just one of their last six Premier League games (D2, L3).
They have won two of their six top-flight home matches this season (D2, L2), a 1-0 win over Arsenal and a 2-1 victory against Southampton.
Mark Hughes has lost 11 of his last 16 Premier League meetings with Liverpool (W2, D3).
Xherdan Shaqiri has registered two goals and four assists in his last six Premier League games.
Darren Fletcher has now made 104 successive Premier League appearances.
Liverpool
Liverpool are unbeaten in four Premier League games (W3, D1).
However, of the 18 top-flight goals they've conceded this season, 16 have come away from home.
Their last Premier League away clean sheet came against West Ham last season, in a 4-0 win in May.
The Reds are seven points worse off than they were at this stage last season, when were second with 30 points.
Liverpool's last nine league victories have all been against teams starting that day in the bottom half of the table. In their first 13 games they've faced seven sides starting that day in the bottom half (W6, D1) and six clubs in the top half (D4, L2).
Mohamed Salah has 15 goals in all competitions this campaign, more than any Liverpool player has managed in an entire season since Luis Suarez scored 31 in 2013-14.
Philippe Coutinho has scored in his last two Premier League games against Stoke.

I like his articles more than yours

Because you don't like it when I or any others criticise our own players when they are not doing well. You are just like him.

You're boring. You keep saying the same positive thing over and over again no matter how poor we played.

Bit rich tbh considering the repetition of your views don't you think?
But yes I think we're a good side and I find your appraisals, well, boring.

Just watched MOTD as was out at a comedy show tonight.
Bit lucky with the Mignolet incident but looked a comfortable win really on chances.
Rotation works again.
Maybe time for some fans to have a bit more faith in manager and players?

20 mins in the second half we were under a bit of pressure with Shaqiri and Crouch causing problems. Allen should have scored at least one but didn't which is why we sold him.
Other than the red card incident Mignolet was very good I thought and then Salah and Mane showed quality to take the game from them. Good away win.

Yeah, plenty were questioning the team selection before the game, there was even the question of whether Klopp ‘would get away with it’ like he did versus Chelsea These same idiots would be moaning like mad if Klopp picked the same players every week and we ended up with the same injury situation as last January.
I truly do despair at the majority of modern day fans. Fickle doesn’t even begin to describe them.

It was nice to actually get the majority of the luck for a change. It’s good to see the opposition actually squandering good chances, rather than the 100% conversion rate that we normally get against us!

Had we played our strongest team against Chelsea we would have won.
Klopp took a gamble last night and it paid off. Really helped when one of the regulars came of the bench. Also helped having Henderson on the bench
