I think they're all quite well balanced. I fancy those with tournament experience and winning mentality to prosper over the fresh faces. I fancy Australia for example over Peru and Denmark, I think Serbia will beat the Swiss who are so overrated its unreal.

Tame groups = exciting knockouts

That's seedings for you

Should be all teams in a pot

Would give a little weight to the atrocious comment Southgate said about being lucky to be 1 of 32

So after that draw, it looks like the absolute best England can hope for is the Quarter finals, where we'll likely face either Brazil or Germany and go home

QFs would be a relative achievement though after our last 2 tournaments.

Most likely opponent assuming we get out of our group is Poland.

They're a decent side, but you have to expect us to beat them

Thier is not a single great team in this world cup but many mediocre teams, and normally in previous world cup's (apart from 2014) they'd always be at least one great side in a tournement, this just goes to show how badly football has regressed, and this means thier are very few great players coming through aswell.

Luckily i got to see a golden age of football with many truly great national teams aswell as players.

Meanwhile, No suprise to see england think they can win the world cup, after getting to a single semi finals since thier last win in 1966, and being eliminated by the mighty iceland in the last major tournement.

English players are reknowed for being the best players in the world inbetween tournements, during tournements they become infected with the rare undiagnosed form of "footballing pressure" from thier fans and media, because so much is expected of them.

They are also known for thier generosity and belief in multiculturalsim in sport, where they play a lot of africans, and other foregin nationals in thier sport and later refer to them as "english" or "british" but this multi-culturalism is yet to be introduced in the political and goverment scene.

This form of multiculturalism has bambozzled rivals, who cannot seem to compete with thier english counterparts sportmanship, as opponent teams don't know when thier players are considered "english' and when they are not, as it is altered so fast and so frequently.
