Always love a trip to Barnsley, nice friendly place with parking at the Metrodome and a fantastic traffic jam as you are leaving but there is a McDonalds down the road and...anyway...so what?
Again, if we win this we send out a statement of intent and can enjoy a good start the large amount of games in December. Not win and a cloud of despondency will descend in the DE postcode area.
Injuries, Sam Winnall and BJ look to be alright which will provide a headache of whom to start. Also I hear that Tom Lawrence needs a fitness check after a small niggle - not a niggle from actually scoring methinks.
Chris Martin has a good record against the Tykes with 6 goals in the last few games and will probably be prefered to Nugent in the forwardish role.
I always thought we had a good record against Barnsley up there, but I'm wrong (honest!) just one win out of the last eight vists.
To those going up, enjoy the game - we will be here with all the exiles, minus Heb who has to report him after taking a battering from Storm Caroline. Lets us hope he returns to the match thread safe and well.
Team news:-
Carson, Baird, Keogh (C), Davies, Forsyth; Huddlestone, Ledley; Weimann, Vydra, Lawrence; Martin
Substitutes: Mitchell, Russell, Wisdom, Johnson, Winnall, Nugent, Thorne

it's just nature in all it's mystery and how I met the Hebwife in the first place. Indeed, without avalanches in the glen, natural selection here would be a very different thing indeed.......

Isn't it wonderful? A well earned away win. Prospect of a top FA Cup tie. And Christmas and everything.

I had to dig down two feet through the snow to find my carrots and parsnips today. Roasted up very nicely in a bit of goose fat though. Going to have to dig my way out tomorrow to be able to get to work.

I think that achieving 500 comments, despite people being snowed in, and, in the generally challenging circumstances, is really commendable.
