What is the alternative?

Just accepting the deal negotiated by a very unpopular government?

But I would think that any deal that includes paying off the 44bn would be voted down and all beneficial agreements with it.

Not something any govt could sign off on without putting to a parliamentary vote, even though the shambles in power tried.

I get the impression that the elite wouldn’t allow Brexit to happen. They would give the impression of carrying out a mandate, get a garbage deal and have the public reject it. It now looks like a well thought out plan ironically.

No that's not how it will be.

The vote will be either..

1. Brexit with the agreed deal, or

2. Brexit with no deal and WTO rules.

Either way it's Brexit.
