Anyone else getting a feeling of deja vue?
Puel has come into a decent team and excellently run Club, tinkering a little and getting a real momentum going, a lot of luck and obvious issues still but suddenly it's how high can we go?
Another good result away from home.
PS glad we don't have their keeper, another one who costs his team goals.

The interesting thing is that Newcastle set up to counter one threat: the swift break and the ball in behind. Vardy was somewhat isolated but, even so, the defence sat deep to counter his threat.
Now the team of 2015/16 would probably have still found a way and we'd have come away with a 1-0. But, let's face it, last season's team would not have known what to do. They'd have kept possession before punting a hopeful, or often hopeless, ball up field. This team was looking to be progressive in possession, which is a developing area for our team.
It's a work in progress. We need to find a way to move the ball quicker when playing through midfield and be more incisive, but this isn't easy. I've watched a few games this weekend where the bigger, higher quality, team has failed to break down a deep sitting, resolute, defence. So we shouldn't be too hard on ourselves after managing three goals. It's still the defence that appears to be our Achilles heel.

I guess that's why we call it Evolution not Revolution.

I think Puel was hurt by the Southampton fans thinking he played boring football and has emcouraged his full-backs and one centre-half to bomb on, which leaves us exposed at the back.
It's entertaining stuff but we will be caught out from time to time - I think Wednesday will be a tough one.
Much as I applaud his use of Gray, I would rather see Shinji behind Vardy and Mahrez (or Gray) playing wide.
It's fun but it's fragile.

lcfcprawnsandwich why are Leicester not playing Ulloa more in matches or starting him?He used to score important goals for Leicester regularly a few seasons ago and he was a handful even last season.

Where has this one from Joby? I’m shocked - I thought you loved Ulloa and rated him highly.
Next you’ll be telling me the Nev thinks Kasper is rubbish.
Pah.

There's a little more to it than my fellow supporters have offered up Zahra but the reality is that Ulloa is behind Okazaki, Slimani and Iheanacho in the pecking order and may well move on in January.
Vardy is our main striker and anyone else is in there to support him. We don't favour the big man, small man anymore.

Looks like Ulloa is going up the pecking order though, Slimani no even in the squad and Ulloa used to great effect to see out the win.
Evolution is great!
