I watched Southampton on the box against Arsenal at the weekend and I was quite impressed. I thought we’d have a really tough game tonight and, when I saw the team, I feared the worst.

But credit to the players and credit to the manager. At the moment he’s getting more out of the likes of King, Gray, Mahrez and Chilwell than we’ve seen for a while. There may be harder times ahead, but for now Mr Puel’s excrement is odourless.
