A docufilm about the 118 year history of our home
I’ve had some highs and lows at the lane and how I miss going there but once the new stadium is open we shall return to where our soul is.
Favourite memory at the lane ?

My first game was in div 2 77/78 season v Oldham
Was in the players lounge which was a portakabin as the west stand was being built.
Left the ground in Neil mcnab’s mrs Austin 1300.
We won 5-1

The Judas returns game was unbelievable
Atmosphere was toxic
Loved the fact Campbell had the hump with his brother who was a season ticket holder in the Paxton lower and thought he was out of order being in amongst our lot as he got pelters.
You can change your club you caant but don’t expect your brother to

Didn’t know that. Quality 😂😂

Best memory....the 9-1 miss J8 bought me the tickets and also went with me....(she's a g00ner.)
Worst...jeez....well we've obviously had some piff teams in my lifetime....but probably the cup defeat Vs city....3 zip up at HT.
Even I was giving it the beans at half time...then the all too familiar spurs cave in.

Hounslows, as promised my 10 best memories of games I have watched at WHL.
1. Spurs v Blackpool 1960/61 First ever first team match, who can forget their first experience of a big match at WHL. 3-1 win.
2. Spurs v Burnley 1960/61 4-0 up after 35 minutes against the current champions, and then pegged back to 4-4.
3. Spurs v Sunderland 1960/61 FA Cup Sixth Round replay, biggest crowd I have been in at WHL, official crowd 67,000+ I think, but I am sure it touched 70,000. Won 5-0.
4. Spurs v Feijenoord 1961/62 European Cup. First ever European Match. Drew 1-1, after winning the away leg 3-1.
5. Spurs v Dukla Prague European Cup 1961/62. A magical night on the snow at WHL. Spurs won 4-1.
6. Spurs v Nottingham Forest 1962/63. Jimmy Greaves scored four in a 9-2 win.
7. Spurs v Liverpool 1963/63. Jimmy Greaves scored another four in a 7-2 win.
8. Spurs v Leicester 1976/77. Last game in the 1st Division before relegation. 2-0 win.
9. Spurs v Sheffield United 1977/78. First game in the 2nd Division. Spurs won 4-2.
10. Spurs v Anderlecht v 1983/84 UEFA Cup Final 2nd Leg. Spurs won on penalties.
There have been many, many more, but these are 10 of my best.
