the days of old Cement Boots, truly shocking. All down to the manager in my book. Sure Toby and Sanchez are missing, but he has been constantly tinkering with the back four all season, and he has now been found out. I called it weeks back that he had to settle down a full-back pair and stick with it, but no he changes constantly, and he has now turned four good full-backs into four not even average ones. I just don`t get it, answers on a postcard please. Why does he keep tinkering with the back four.
Poch has a truly dreadful record in away matches against any half-decent side, and it does not look like improving any time soon. He needs to start taking a bit of the blame himself, instead of keep saying we will learn, when he obviously does not.
Not a happy bunny with out manager this evening. Not quite Poch out yet. But he has a lot to get back in my good books for this season.
The defence today was back to

Poch has completely destroyed the defence this season, injuries apart, that alone he doesn't deserve my support anymore. Even without the injuries, he has constantly tinkered around with the defence so much that none of them now look as if they ever played with each other before.

Poch has had his best days at Spurs. He aint going to win anything, so maybe time for a change. He has definitely regressed this season. Constant tinkering shows he does not now know even his best side.

Poch has or is it because Waynama and Dembele ( well the last season Dembele ) haven’t been here then we sold the best RB in the league and played a poor one instead and then on top of that the best CB in the league gets injured and is out for 4 months.
Oh then our new cb gets sent off and missed 3 games and I won’t mention the diabolical left back situation.
Maybe that’s why he’s had to tinker with it

You've got to consider that Wanyama and Toby bring a big physical presence to the team. We're certainly missing them, and it's not that much of a surprise we've been conceding so many without them and have generally looked more vulnerable this season.
As for Trippier, let's not overdo the criticism. The same best RB that we used to have had a bit of a mare himself as I remember when we came to City last season, and should have conceded a penalty for a push on Sterling.

To be fair to Pochettino he has injuries and bannings to put up with, so some tinkering is needed.
Alderwireld and Wanyama are out injured, Sanchez is banned, Rose and Lamela are not fully match fit as yet, (although Danny did well for 85 mins today) so one must expect tinkering.
That said, Winks was not up to this match and Sissoko would have been a better choice - and certainly a halftime sub.
Also why play Trippier who was beaten for pace every time they came down that side, when we have Aurier?
So..... I have to agree some what with Sandy. Pochettino has to take blame for his choices today.
Dunno what to do about Dier?
Except to say we really miss Toby.

Hardly, I have been saying for weeks that the managers constant rotation of the full backs would bring Spurs down this season.
