Only the CL campaign is saving this season from being the worse for a long while.
The constant defeats at the top teams, not showing any sort of improving the shocking away stats at any half decent team. When push comes to shove Poch does not seem to be able to motivate the team in any meaningful away domestic match. The first half decent side Spurs will draw in the FA Cup away, that will be Spurs out.
The main problem is that Poch has tinkered so much with the team, four or five changes every match, I think he has completely lost what he thinks his is best team. The full back situation is a complete joke, and after yesterday`s shambolic display, you can see what damage it is doing.
The midfield area was so very weak yesterday. Winks was poor against Brighton, and should have been taken out of the firing line, either Lamela or Sissoko should have been starting. There is no back up for Kane, so he has to shoulder everything on his own. Llorente is simply not up to it.
Poch needs to up his game, he cannot keep getting a free pass on the back of all these defeats in big away matches, no more excuses about not spending as much as other teams. His subs yesterday were a complete joke. Leaving Trippier on for the entire match was criminal, bringing Davies on in the 88th minute, what was the point of that?
I am not interested in how good City are, we know it is not just City that Spurs roll over for season on season is it?
Other teams get injuries and they get by, Spurs have a couple of players missing, and they go to pieces. The defending of set pieces, especially corners is shocking and getting worse, back to the bad old days of Cement boots. I fear a few more hammerings this season, unless he can get the defence back to how it was for a the past two seasons.
Spurs are rightly called the nearly men, because that is what they are. There will be no trophy again this season, that is an absolute guarantee. Where is the fight and giving not just 100 per cent, but a bit more. You have to bust a gut sometimes in life to get what you want, but I see not one player willing to go the extra mile. All we will get is the same old rubbish about how we will learn from this defeat, as if they ever do.
Start earning your money Poch and the players, or else this season will go right down the pan.

You mean 20 points behind the team that has broken the record for most ever points at this stage who will probably get over 100 points and be seen as the best PL team ever?
We have no home ground this season as well, and are doing better than expected in the CL. I'd say given all the circumstances we're doing about as well as we could have hoped for.

I don`t buy all this Pep is the second coming bollox, the very best coaches can walk into any squad of players and improve them without spending a penny.
Spendiola has spent around a billion quid to get the £ity team to where they are.
