Mignolet, Robertson, Lovren, Klavan, Gomez, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Salah, Coutinho, Firmino

Head-to-head

Bournemouth's 4-3 win in this fixture 12 months ago is their only triumph in 11 league and cup games against Liverpool (D3, L7).
Last season's two meetings produced a total of 11 goals - only the games between Crystal Palace and Swansea (12 goals) yielded more in 2016-17.

Bournemouth
The Cherries are winless in their last five league games (D3, L2).
They have claimed eight Premier League points at home this season - only Swansea, with seven, have fewer.
Eddie Howe's side have taken just one point from a possible 27 this season against teams who began this weekend in the top half of the table.
Jermain Defoe has scored three goals in his last three league matches against Liverpool, one more than he netted in his first 20 games versus the Reds.

Liverpool
Liverpool are unbeaten in their last eight games in the Premier League (W5, D3) - their best run since an 11-match streak ended in November 2016.
The Reds have only lost one of their last 22 league games against teams from outside the "big six", winning 14 of those matches and drawing seven.
Jurgen Klopp has made 65 changes to Liverpool's starting line-up in this season's Premier League, which is 23 more than any other team.
Last season, Klopp only made a total of 54 changes to his starting line-up in the league.
Mohamed Salah could become the first Liverpool player to score at least 20 league and cup goals in a single season since Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge both did so in 2013-14.
Twenty three of the Reds' last 27 goals in all competitions have been scored by either Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino or Philippe Coutinho.

welsh...over a season are u confident of a title challenge with Moreno, Lovren and Mignolet in defence???
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How could you be confident with a a back three including a goalkeeper and a full back?

This manager will improve this team year after year with quality players and will not spend for the sake of it like most posters here want. The prime example is Everton and their spending on players they didn't need.

VVD must be our number one target and hope we will get him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Most of the moaners would have signed Keane in the summer.

Gomez has improved a lot. He is solid and confident
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Henderson's done alright hasn't he?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hez had a gud game. Problem with him is that he doesn't come up with these performances consistently enough
----------
Henderson had a good game which was important as Wijnaldum was slow and poor. I'm not a fan of Henderson and I know he will have bad games against physical teams and when we are under pressure but he deserves credit for doing well today.

I don't remember many at all wanting Keane, quite the opposite actually.

There were more than a few who would have happily signed any centre half in the last week of the window and were convinced that our failure to sign one would be terminal.

Big shout for Ox today. Best game in a LFC shirt and in midfield too.

get vvd, oblak (or another decent gk) and keep robertson in the side and we will be top 3 minimum...minimum.

Most said any title challenge was terminal without a new CB for sure, I was one of them, but that was pretty obvious.

Turns out we wouldn’t have challenged even if we had bought one, such is Citys dominance, but there you go.

These 'Henderson had a good game' from you are building up. Time to accept he's maybe not as bad as you thought?

If in my hand I want him to have a good game everytime but let's open this debate after Arsenal game. In the meantime when Keita comes who would you drop, Henderson or Wijnaldum or may be Can if he stayes?
