Why do you guys always assume it is a "liberal plot."
I have not heard any liberal groups even mention grid girls anywhere and I follow all types of motorsport.
I think it is in response to the sexual harassment cases in the US and Liberty do not want to get dragged into it by zealots

Id prefer a mini cockpit over the Halo.
Think the drivers prefer this also. Should make the cars faster with the cockpit but could make the whole "dirty air" factor even worse which is a very bad thing
