Evening all..
Whats the general opinion about oxlade chamberlain ....
When we bought him first i was highly skeptical but the last 5 or 6 games he starting to show a bit of form ..or adapting to klopps style ...dunno.which
Dont wanna jinx him but he could turn out to astute signing ...(few more premiership goals would be brilliant)
Are attitudes changing about ox?

He’s done alright. Nothing yet of note aside from a MOTM against a hapless Bournemouth side - he’s not a kid anymore at 24. However there is clear weight to the argument Wenger wasn’t utilising him correctly. He likes space to run into which suits a counter attacking side who break at speed like we do. Arsenals pretty triangles and slightly more technical football perhaps doesn’t suit him whereas ours more likely will. Don’t think he’ll ever become a world beater but clearly there is something there and he can be a good asset for Klopp and the club. Also fair play to the lad for turning down supposedly more money for a club change to better his career.

The signs are good. Looked really bright at the weekend. Hes dynamic and didnt suit Arsenals turgid build up play.

Mine hasn't changed. Good squad player who can come in and do a job in multiple positions.

Always said he would be a very good squad player, strength in depth is what we needed and ox gives us that.
In order to progress we needed better quality squad players, ox fits the bill. In fact as a squad I think now we have the best we have had since rafas yrs...maybe better.

We didn't have a good squad under Rafa, we had a great first eleven, minus a left winger.
The squad we have now is easily the best we've had for years. If we had a first eleven like that under Rafa, we'd be flying. Another summer and I think we'll be challenging.

a player capable of carrying the ball from central mf, has pace is English and is still only what? 24? quite versatile and already a solid player, just needs to improve on his final product and his consistency. The issue people had was we needed signings in other positions like CB.
Klopp saw the opportunity clearly likes the player enough to take a gamble on him and i think at 35m 24yo and English with his pace and versatility then in this market even if he doesnt improve from what he does now hes value for money as he improves our squad and options considerably.

This.
Same with Lallana and Milner.

He's a good player and has the pace that suits our team so well.
Always said he would be an astute signing despite the ridicule I received for it! Think once Coutinho goes he will start in midfield in our strongest side.

Ox chamberlains career:
injured
injured
injured
He's got to resolve that before people really get a view of him as a player.
I thin kthe fee is the big issue. really far too high to a rival for a 12 month left on contract player.
could have gotten him next month for half.
