23 Dec 2017 Christmas Eve Eve
So, if you take the fact that Millwall are winless in their last eleven away games and have won only two of their last nine against Derby, then you can see stats can tell nothing or something.
Competition for places is keen as Weimann and Lawrence came back into contention after injuries. However to include Lawrence in the XI may seem a tad unfair after sterling performances from BJ and JR in the last game.
There does seem to be a buzz as Derby are nicely poised going into the new year. The football, that many criticise, is effective and is it really that 'not pretty' or are we swayed by the naysayers who want us to lose and yet play like Barcelona?
Shout out to our exiles in Scotland, Ireland, USA, East Anglia, Catalonia, Liverpool and Shardlow. Keep the thread going as we seem to have a dearth of Red Dogs posting on our match thread as TG as in MTG expands. Coincidence?
Things to discuss:-
* Christmas Shopping
* Tickets for MankUre
* Pub on Christmas Day
* In-laws round for Christmas Dinner
Oh and did you know Derby have named the oldest team on average this year in the Championship - a mind blowing, stultifying 29 years and 179 days
Team news:-
Derby County 3 - 0 Millwall

I see the ManU fans are crying in their lager after Fester late equaliser.
Apparently Derby reject Lingard missed a sitter, but no doubt he will still be on the 'plane to Russia...... maybe they will leave him thre with a bit of luck?

Great to see Utd (once the kings of the injury time winner), getting done twice in three days

United should have wrapped it up a few times. They should have had a penalty at 2-1 too. Makes your heart bleed. Poor Jose.

Anyroad, anybody out there that would send Vydra back to Watford as a straight-swap for Will Hughes, (you can out from behind the sofa VC10)?

No I wouldn't, but I would swap Lawrence for Will. Any road up Vdyra cost more than the pittance we got for Will, he was swapped for Anya money.
