don't often agree with fat Sam-but on this I agree with him absolutely. an absolute disgrace that our politicians have abandoned the poor in this manner.

Anyone in the public eye who speaks out on anything runs the risk of alienating someone. But if they don't use their public-given celebrity to make a case on behalf of those without power, they're lesser men.
