What a load of nonsense. You keep your best player regardless of what is happening in goals. Coutinho stats have been amazing this season and he is priceless.

It would be sheer, utter madness to part with Phillipe. Nailing my flag to the mast, I suggest he will be with us even beyond next summer.

How about you just sell Coutinho and use the cash to strengthen your defence?

Personally I think there’s zero benefit in keeping unhappy players. My guess would be Liverpool said to Coutinho, give us one for season and then go with our blessing. Just like we did with Suarez and Utd did with Ronaldo.

I think he’s gone in the summer and it’ll be about getting as much as possible for him and investing it wisely.

Liverpool need only name their price because they hold all the aces. Barça are finished.

Coutinho has gone up a level this season. His price has only gone up.
