The politest thing I can say is that he's incompetent.
He was watching Smalling clamber all over Maguire in the box and gave nothing.
Poetic that Smalling was supposedly marking Maguire when he scored.
Great spirit from the foxes.
Take that John Moss

Moss was his usual awful self - shouldn’t be reffing at this level. Haven’t seen a replay yet but my initial reaction was it shouldn’t have been a free kick for their second goal - looked like Lingaard just ran into Maguire. Having said that, Kasper should’ve saved it.
Quite how he missed the penalty on Maguire at the end is beyond belief but he did get the Amartey red right - don’t think he had any choice there.

He was sandwiched and pushed from both sides by our defenders.

I don’t think the penalty claim was that big.
Sort of challenge centre halves make all the time.
Under the rules it probably should be a foul but it’s not one you ever see given.
His problem is he isn’t fit enough. He can’t keep up with play well enough, especially when a game gets stretched.

Ah fair enough - I didn’t get the best look at it just thought it felt soft. I’ll seek out a replay.

When you see it again, you’ll see Smalling all over Maguire and Moss looking directly at the incident. Even Smalling thoughtbhrd been rumbled

Ahhhh Jon Moss.
What a surprise that in a game full of action, Utd shooting themselves in the foot, end to end play, great saves, great goals....
... we still end up taking about the most incompetent official ever to take charge of a premier league game.
What does that say!

When Jose has nothing to say about the officials in his post game interview then something must be wrong. He basically said that he was a happy man and ripped his own team to shreds!

he missed the handball by the utd player that lead directly to the first yellow card.

We knew what to expect we have history with Moss going back to Forest away some years ago.
He is an awful ref,and as have said so many times he is dishonest.
Not convinced it was a foul leading to their second goal, but he wanted to give it ,and Schmeichel was poor.
But more importantly I am pretty sure he paced out 11or 12 steps. The wall was certainly far back.
Never heard a ref get the fans calling him en masse the names they did.
He deserved it.
Players get penalised for supposed dishonesty, refs don't.

It was a blatant foul for their 2nd goal.
Look I’m a Liverpool fan and can’t stand Utd, but some of your Leicester fans are a bit deluded over some of these decisions.
He’s a useless ref, but you weren’t hard done by today.

Selbs - in the main I don’t think many Leics fans will argue that most key decisions somehow Moss accidentally got right.
But the Smalling incident was a pen, and it was his complete loss of control of another match which was infuriating to watch. It was all the small decisions that were given because he’d already decided what he was going to do. He’s awful. Truly awful.
