300 million not enough, give him a Billion.

Jose Mourinho has come out and said,It is not enough, it is not enough,’ the United manager said of the money spent since he took over. ‘Manchester City buy full backs for the price of the strikers.’

I have heard it all now.

Mourinho you can pack your bags and head over to Paris wherein you can have unlimited cash to blow. How about coaching and improving some of these players rather than asking for more money to blow. Do we need a billion to beat Burnley at Old Trafford now.

Just watched yesterday’s highlights on sky. Lukaku and Mikhi should never get near a United shirt again!! I wouldn’t give Jose one more pound. His buys are like a big lucky dip.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Talk about overreaction. But that token you would have said the same about pogba last season, right?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I reckon Mkhi is in the last chance saloon with Jose atm, however yesterday when he came on he showed just a little bit of aggression, before yesterday he could be accused of going through the motions, which is probably why he was dropped

Hope not, there's a superb player in there, who can do great things.

City have spent an atrocious amount, but they have spent it well.

We have also spent an atrocious amount, but we have bought poorly or have a manager failing to organise his team and improve them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

My view pretty much. We finished level on points with the City side and Pep and Jose came to both teams around the same time.

Peps first time in England and Joses third spell.

City have evolved into a completely different side and each player knows his job and does it and players have improved.

Can anyone identify a single player Jose has improved? As a matter of fact, quite a few have regressed.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Valencia, Fellaini, Young, Lingard, Jones and Rojo have all improved whilst Jose has been at the club IMO.

That doesn't mean Jose has improved them though. Just like those who have 'regressed' cannot have that lack of form solely attributed to their manager.

It's a very simplistic and myopic view fans have of player development in suggesting that the only factor influencing a player's development or lack of form is the manager in charge of the playing side.

It clearly isn't a fair or objective measure.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Interesting that Jose didn't buy any of those players you mentioned.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mkhi certainly doesn't look the player he was at Dortmund.

Pogba I don't see as any better or worse than he was at Juve right now. He performed a bit below par last season, but this season he has started very well.

The others I don't think I could judge yet.

Ibra joined us in his mid-thirties so was never going to be on an upward curve.

Bailly I didn't see any of before he signed and worryingly has been injured too often to judge his progress since he arrived.

And it's too early to judge Lukaku or Lindelof.

Not really. Mikhi has done nothing to warrant being anywhere near the squad. Some people slate Lingard, but he’s contributing. He’s plays forward. Lukaku is just embarrassing at times. He had a header yesterday that was just inexplicable, that pretty much sums the guy up. Everton was his level.

As for Pogba, not at all. He’s another player that is always looking to play forward. With better players around him he’ll be world class. I just don’t trust Mourinho to buy those players.

My point was that last season pogba delivered some of the worst performances I've ever seen, Liverpool for example. But we've stuck with him (favourable treatment), and he's playing well this season. Miki has a lot of talent, he just needs to find his mojo.

Pogba is short of world class for me, I'm not sure he has all around enough to be it either. He's very good looking forward, but lacks discipline and application in other areas. He needs workers like matic to help him look good.

After these comments, people should give more respect to Wenger. 100m between us and city and our manager is complaining, how about Wenger

Jose also said Arsenal and Chelsea aren't big clubs because its not our responsibility to win the league.

Tbf he has a point. Arsenal should be making winning the league a responsibility. Failure to even challenge for this should result in Wenger's sacking.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That' the dumbest I'll ever read.....and I read a lot of dumb things here.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Course it is, if you're only looking at it in the context of what Arsenal are currently doing.

and that's the point. What arsenal and, in particular, the owners, are currently doing shouldn't be accepted as "good enough".

AW has had more than enough time to develop players to negate the need to make even more big signings!

He wasn't complaining when he took Campbell from Spurs on a massive contract was he.

Quite possibly very true. He'd do well in that style if footy.
