Its currently still going.
Hes currently a regular starter in a team that are above spurs last time I checked.
Also a regular in a back four that has conceded less goals at home than any other in the league, and has more clean sheets than spurs to its name.
Obviously no comparison to Spurs world class defence,( who currently have conceded a whole 3 goals less than Liverpool ), but we are working on it.

He’s a good player, but whether you’re a spurs fan or Liverpool fan you have to admit that 75m is absolutely insane for VVD.
It’s the kind of deal that Utd would do and everyone would laugh at them.
