Good luck Carlos
Got to the Premier League before us
Swansea appoint Carlos Carvalhal

It's a win win for Carlos. If they go down then it wasn't his fault as they were doomed anyway. If he keeps them up then he will be hailed as the messiah. If he can make them hard to beat and grind out a few wins then who knows

Absolutely Sloppy. He got us playing like world beaters when he first arrived, so if the Swansea players react the same, then he could yet save them.
I'm glad he got another job so soon.
What do you think of the bookies favourite for our new boss - McClaren? His overall managerial win ratio is 44.9%, whilst Carlos' at Wednesday was 42.7% (his overall stats a bit less impressive - 39.6%).

I don't want 'Schteve'. His record isn't good. He struggled at Derby and doesn't seem the sort of manager who would motivate players. Having said that I'm not sure who I do want. The out of work managers are the usual bunch who don't inspire me at all. I'd quite like us to take a punt on an up and coming young manager. Maybe the guy at Shrewsbury or what about Dean Smith at Brentford. They play attacking football

To be honest Sloppy, I'd really like someone who is different and has off the wall ideas with modern thinking - a bit like Carlos really.
I've been watching Wednesday for a long time (not giving my age away ) and we've had too many managers who can't think their way out of a paper bag.
I want someone to come in and shake the place up and the players. Someone who can motivate the players again and who the fans can fall in love with. A bit like Carlos, again, but who can do it for more than 1 and a half seasons.
I've no idea who that man is - he's probably not British because they all seem to have the same mindset. Maybe another European manager with lots of passion.
This sort of thinking doesn't go down well with lots of Owls' fans but if we always do what we've always done, we'll always get what we've always got. (nothing).
Let's be brave . . . . .
