The average PL champions’ points total in the last 10 seasons is 87 pts.

The highest champion's points total in the last 10 seasons was Chelsea last year – 93 pts. Chelsea’s record that year was W30 D3 L5. This season they're already W14 D3 L4.

Mathematically they could get 96 pts this season if they go on a 17 game winning run in which case we need another 35 pts from 16 games. Worst case scenario, that’s 11 wins and 2 draws for us to be mathematically certain of the title. We can afford to lose 3 games.

More realistically, the average 2nd place pts total has been 81 pts with the highest total for a 2nd placed team being 89 pts (Utd in 2012 😊) so say 87 to 90 pts is a more realistic target to secure the title. That means 8 or 9 wins and a draw from 16 games.

I guess it’ll be case of how many points the chasing group take off us and each other but more than likely we could lose 6 games from here and still win the title – that’s a lot of leeway!
