The magic of the fa cup(contractually obligated say this )arrives at the macron this afternoon. On paper it looks a cracking tie a championship team at home to a premier league team. Both teams however have bigger priorities so I'm guessing both teams view this game as a unwelcome distraction. Huddersfield promoted last season have made a great start and look comfortable in 11th, living the dream and top priority is making sure they keep the 4 point gap between them and third bottom. Bolton relegated at the end of September have dragged themselves to the dizzy heights of 20th, with a run of 3 wins from 4 games. Team news. Those 4 games in 10 days appears to impacted the strength of the squad. A round up from what I have read. The heartbeat of the team, both midfield enforcers injured v hull are out for a few weeks. Henry with a hamstring, pratley with an ankle injury. Vela is reported to have a virus and while back in training Taylor unlikely to be fit enough to play.Armstrong, burke and Cullen have gone back to their parent clubs after their loan deals expired. Bolton have their first signing of the window available though as Robinson has extended his loan from Everton. Not sure how parky is going to play this. I can't see anyone who has been playing regularly being risked today so can see alnwick, little, wheater, beavers, Vela, ameobi, Buckley, Madine being rested. I doodled this starting line up yesterday. Howard. Darby, dervite, derik. Morais, earing, karacan, king, Robinson. Alf, wilbraham.(3-5-2). Tickets still available at £15 and absolutely bonkers there are no trains from Bolton to horwich parkway.

If he's spouting off then no point keeping madine. Don't let him go on the cheap though. Kind of forcing bolton into a corner as financially can't give him a new contract and end up with a player who wants to go.

I personally wouldn't want him to go. The only positive would be if one of the youngsters who know where the nets are can get a game and prove they are up to it.

A 21yr old midfield player, who can score goals,
( if he can intercept the ball as it goes over his head to Madine ) thanks to big Sam and Everton, if he’s as good as Robinson 🤔 I’ll be happy, at 21 he’s 2yrs older than Hall.
So could be old enough.

We've got three good young midfielders who score goals what's this fascination with having to bring up somebody else's kids.
It's been a long time since somebody in power once said we have to produce our own and become a trading club I don't think this bringing other clubs players up was part of that plan. Ken has a nerve asking for more to turn up perhaps they would if we gave our own a proper chance.

Time to wheel out those old Brentford Nylons jokes.
Let's hope the new midfield isn't static today.

The Beano gives Harry a good write up, let's hope he's as good as he's being made out to be.
As long as ken keeps his hands firmly in his pocket, we are going to need help, so thank you to Big Sam for the loan.

We seem to be playing well considering some of these players weren’t deemed good enough only a few games ago, just what do these managers know 🤔.

Dare I say an attacking midfield today is working today.
