Fairly quiet window last summer, miles behind Barca in the league who have now got even stronger.
I think we know what's coming don't we? The PL big boys will be expecting a fax or two for sure.
DDG is an obvious name to start with however I'm not sure a GK is anywhere near top of their priorities watching them this season. They've got far bigger concerns than replacing Navas.
Which other PL players do you think they may try and get? Maybe Lewandowski from Bayern could be option for them too. Griezmann to do the dirty on Atletico? Surely not?
Madrid's response going to be interesting

I'm in the minority but I think there's still a player in there in Darmian that's why I think it could be a 'sensible' transfer for someone like Real. For his career though he should head back to Italy.

Agreed. I find it amusing that so many wrote off darmian but are quite willing to give shaw all the time in the world, who doesn’t offer anymore going forward and is injured most of the time.

They should go for Mahrez (someone should at least) Seriously under rated. I think he will be top draw in La Liga too.

Fairly quiet window last summer
----
17/18 net profit was €100M
16/17 €4.5M profit
15/16 spent €67M net
14/15 €20M net spend
13/14 €53.1M net spend
That last season listed was the season Bale was signed, so you can see that in net terms, R. Madrid have barely spent anything on transfers for 5 years now.
I'd imagine that uts us in a position to splash big time, but it might just be that our wage bill has been severely hamstringing us all this time.
