DUMP IT NOW.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42549416

Dump VAR now before it ruins our game any further.

2 VAR incidents in last nights Chelsea/Arsenal fixture both went with the original referees decision but resulting in moronic managerial gesticulations on the touch line and 9 minutes of extra time. BORE FEST.

The only reason we have it is because billionaires own football they want to protect their investment. It does not help the fans or the football appeal, post match experience at all.

Where does it end? Is it only for penno shouts.

I can't believe anyone backs this stupid technology.

This is a good suggestion:

"This isn't tricky. Use the spray used for free kick walls, and write "VAR" on the pitch. Or the ref can spell out VAR with his body, like the YMCA dance. "

It's coming in one form or another, Iwas, so you may as well put out your flaming torch and put the pitchfork back in the barn.

Not the attitude Ang. All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent. Fight the power.

I'm not of a conservative persuasion, Vidal.
Surprised to find you in the Luddite Tendency

Football's a game, Ang. Games were never meant to be subjected to such scrutiny. We will end up chasing around in ever-decreasing circles, bound by the laws of diminishing returns as we seek ever greater "accuracy". The soul of the game will be ripped out as endless replays are played to attempt to answer unanswerable questions. Did he mean to handball it? Could he have stayed on his feet? Was there enough contact? Oh, we have just noticed something on Camera 45 that happened 10 minutes ago that we think you should look at, ref.

Thin end of the wedge. Ramones knew. "I'm against it".
