I hope Rangers stand by their offer to pay £600k or whatever in the summer. From what ex Forest striker, Kris Boyd, has been saying, Rangers have been making derisory offers for quite a few Scottish players recently. The sooner Ranger’s and quite a few of their fans accept they’re also rans and are facing a long road to ever compete on even terms, the better.

Anyway, back to the Reds. Panathinaikos don’t seem keen to sell the Swedish lad to Forest as they’re owned by Marinakis. Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face.

Paper talk of forest offering 2m for Clayton.

Don’t know much about the lad other than boro fans seem to rate him, sad to see him leave, and that 2m would be a steal.

A steady 28yo DCM would go a long way to shoring up the team, and with a lot of experience in the championship, it’s a low risk investment

Boro are looking in the region of £5-6m for him so there be some negotiating needed by Karanka. I like the look of him. Always been a good performer whenever I have seen him and would be a long term replacement for Vaughan.

Also didn’t realise Boro had Guedioura!...

Ariyibi has returned from his loan at F.C. Franchise. Ended a bit flat for him there apparently after a good start. Needs to go out on another loan as he needs to prove himself before he disappears off the radar altogether.

The Algerian striker from Dinamo Zagreb has revealed that Forest have had a bid turned down for him. Has a decent record in the Croatian league and was player of the season last time round apparently. Still have nightmares about the gazillions thrown at Djebbour, and to a slightly lesser extent, Abdoun, but then you see the likes of Mahrez and wonder if this lad could do a job for Forest.

Seems that Mills, Carayol, Ward and Vellios have all been told they can leave if offers come in. Would free up some squad places and finances. I wouldn’t really miss any of them, other than maybe Vellios who doesn’t seem to have had much of a look in. The others have mainly flattered to deceive during their time at the CG and have been paid handsomely for it too. Would get the squad numbers down, which was always Warburton’s idea too, in fairness.
